Selection Process Of Assam Police Constable Posts :-
Selection will be Complete on the Basis Of this Following Selection Criteria Given Below :
- Written Exam
- Physical Standard Test (PST) & Medical Checkup
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Psychometric Test
- Document Verification
Age Limit & Relaxation :-
Candidate should not be more than 24 years and less than 20 years of age as on 01-01-2023. (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2003 and on or after 01-01-1999).
Relaxation : Upper age limit will be relaxed for ;
- (i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
- (ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/ MOBC.
- (iii) Additional 3 (three) years in respect of National and International sports person who have represented India/ National Team of the state of Assam at the National or International level in the discipline recognized by International Olympic Committee & Indian Olympic Association. This will be over and above the relaxation age as per Govt. existing policy.
Pay Scale (Salary) Of Assam Police SI Posts :-
Rs. 14,000- 60,500/- (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700/- Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Education Qualification Required For Assam Police :-

OR, Master of Computer Application (MCA) OR, B.E./ B. Tec. in E & TC or Computer or Instrumentation or IT or equivalent qualification in same discipline. |
