About CISF Head Constable Ministerial Exam :-

Central Industrial Security Force conducting the exam for the post of Head Constable (Ministerial). Many Candidates applying for the exam of Head Constable (Ministerial). The Exam of CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) will be conducted on the Upcoming Date. Soon the Date of the examination will be announced.

HEIGHT BAR TEST (HBT) : Those candidates found eligible in height bar test will be put through PST.

Documentation

Following Original testimonials/documents of the candidates who qualify in PST will be scrutinized. Candidates who fail to produce requisite original testimonials/ certificates will be eliminated from the recruitment process by giving a rejection slip intimating reasons there of by the Presiding Officer and no candidate will be allowed provisionally.

About Written Examination :-

About CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) Exam Pattern :-

Exam pattern of CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) written exam is as follows :

  • (i) The written test will be either OMR/Computer based Test.
  • (ii) Objective type question paper to be answered on OMR sheet of 100 marks of 02 hours duration
  • (iii) Written Exam Containing 100 questions of General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and General English or Hindi Subjects.
  • (iv) The Time Duration will be 120 minutes.
  • (v) The Questions will be set Bilingual in English/Hindi.
  • (vi) The Written Examination Paper will be of 12th standard.
  • (vii) There shall be No Negative Marking.

The minimum percentage of marks for qualifying for next stage will be as under:-

  • General /ESM /Ex-SM : 35%
  • SC/ST/OBC : 33%

Note:-The qualifying marks of 35% for General/ ESM and 33% for SC/ST/OBC does not mean that all candidates who have scored 35% & 33% as the case may be will be called for next stage. The candidates for next stage will be called purely on the basis of their performance/marks scored in written examination and cut off marks (category wise) which will be fixed after completion of written examination.

About CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) Exam Syllabus :-

CISF Head Constable Ministerial Syllabus 2022 will be as follows :

General Intelligence : Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Knowledge : Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc.

General English or Hindi : Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc

Arithmetic : This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

About Skill Test Norms on Computer :-

Other Essential Qualifications Skill Test Norms on Computer
For Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) Dictation :-10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
Transcription time :- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
For Head Constable (Ministerial) English Typing with minimum speed of 35 wpm on Computer (Or)
Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM on Computer.
(35 w.p.m. in English and 30 w.p.m in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH (Key Depressions Per Hour) in English/9000 KDPH (Key Depressions Per Hour) in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions
for each word on computer)

About Medical Standards Test :

Only those candidates who Qualified All The Stages of this Recruitment Successfully, will be called for Detailed Medical Examination(DME). The shortlisted candidates will be medically examined by the Medical Boards to assess their physical and medical fitness. The medical examination of the candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and ARs issued vide MHA UO No.A.VI-1/2014-Rectt(SSB) dated 20.05.2015 and MHA OM No.E32012/ADG(Med)/DME & RME/DA-1/2020(Part File)/1166 dated 31.05.2021 and as amended from time to time by the Government

Eye-Sight :

  1. Visual Acuity unaided (Near vision)Better eye – N6 & Worse eye – N9
  2. Uncorrected visual acuity (Distant vision) Better eye – 6/6 & Worse eye – 6/9
  3. RefractionVisual correction of any kind is not permitted even with glasses.
  4. Color vision CP-III by ISHIARA. Remarks : Binocular vision is required.

Final Selection & Merit List :

After completion of PST, Documentation, Written Examination & Skill Test & medical Examination, All India and category wise merit lists will be drawn Based on the Performance of Candidates in Written Examination and number of vacancy in each category.
