Vacancy Description:
Assistant Quality Control Officer (Grade A0) – 71 posts
Age limit:
Candidates must have a maximum of 30 years of age on 30-09-2021 for General and Economically Weak Sections (EWSs).
In line with the President’s directives, relaxation of the upper age limit will be available in the relevant departments as opposed to the following reserved positions:

Salary structure:
The salary scale of the selected candidates will be Rs 10,000. 40,000 / – to Rs. 1,40,000 / – (Grade A0).
Educational Qualifications:
- The candidate should have obtained a Master’s degree in Chemistry / equivalent from a recognized Indian University / Institute.
- Equivalent branch in MSc. Chemistry will include inorganic / organic / analytical / physical / applied chemistry / industrial chemistry.
No other branch of chemistry such as Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Toxicology, Geochemistry, Pharmacology, Food Technology etc. will be considered for qualification. - Candidates in General / OBC (NCL) / EWS category should have minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree examination.
Eligibility Degree Marks are relaxed up to 55% for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Benchmark Disabled (PwBD) candidates. - Eligibility degrees obtained through full-time regular courses will only be considered eligible
Experience requirements–
- Minimum 02 years of growing experience in the following fields:
Testing / R&D / Petroleum / Petrochemical / Polymer / Fertilizer Unit Quality Control Experience in Laboratory
And / or
Experience in NABL approved laboratory. The experience will be considered valid only if approved in the case of the lab “Experimental” With discipline “Chemical”. There should be opportunities under the lab group: Lubricants / Petroleum and Products.
(Discipline of mechanical, electrical, electronics, biological, radiological, NDT etc. will not be considered)
- Experience gained after the date of announcement of qualification degree results will be considered for calculation experience only. B.Sc. Or short term trainees (summer / winter projects during MSc etc.) will not be considered for relevant experience.
- Teaching and research experience in an academic institute will not be considered relevant experience.
