ITBP Staff Nurse Selection Process :
ITBP Sub Inspector Staff Nurse Recruitment will be Complete On the Basis of this Following Selection Criteria Below;
- Phase – I,
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET),
- Physical Standard ‘rest (PST),
- Phase – II,
- Phase – III,
- Document Verification/ Practical Test
- Merit List,
- Phase – IV,
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME).
ITBP Staff Nurse PET / PST Physical Test :
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

| 100 Meters Race | To be completed within 16 Seconds. |
| 1.6 Kms Race | To be completed within 7.30 Minutes. |
| For Female Candidates | Time |
| 100 Meters Race | To be completed within 18 Seconds. |
| 800 Meters Race | To be completed within 4.45 Minutes |
No marks will be awarded for this test and it will be only qualifying in nature. Those who do not qualify will be eliminated at this stage itself.
Physical Standards Test (PST)
- Weight : Proportionate to Height and Age as per Medical Standards.

About ITBP Staff Nurse Written Examination :
ITBP Staff Nurse Exam Pattern:
The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:
- The written test will consist of OMR based or Computer based objective type multiple choice questions.
- The question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
- Question Paper Will be of 100 Marks/ Questions.
- The questions for written test shall be of 10th standard.
- The Time Duration of Exam Will be 02 Hours (120 Minutes)
- Pattern of question paper will be as under:-

ITBP Staff Nurse Exam Syllabus :
General Awareness:- Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Numerical Aptitude : The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
General Intelligence & Reasoning :- This component may include questions on Ranking & Order, Blood Relataion, analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.
English : Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
HINDI : वर्तनी की सामान्य अशुद्धियाँ तथा शब्दों के शब्द रूप, शब्दों के स्त्रीलिंग, बहुवचन, किसी वाक्य को अन्य लिंग में परिवर्तन, मुहावरा व उनका अर्थ, अशुद्ध वाक्यों के शुद्ध रूप, विलोमार्थी शब्द, समानार्थी व पर्यायवाची शब्द, अनेक शब्दों के लिए एक शब्द, कहावतें व लोकोक्तियां के अर्थ, संधि विच्छेद, क्रिया से भाववाचक संज्ञा बनाना, रचना एवं रचयिता इत्यादि|
Trade / Profession related Theory : Mainly Focus on the topics Which is related to the Trade.
ITBP Sub Inspector Staff Nurse Documentation & Practical Exam :
Verification of Original Documents :
Candidates needs to Verified all the Required Document for the Verification before appearing in the Medical Test. Self Attested Original Copy of Following Documents will be Required for Verification ;
- Education Certificate(s)
- Profession Certificates.
- Experience Certificate, as case my be.
- Date Of Birth Certificate (Matric Or 10th Class Certificate).
- Caste Certificate.
- No Objection Certificate.
- Reservation Certificate.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Discharge Certificate in Case Of Ex-Servicemen.
- Four Latest Passport Size Photos.
Practical Examination :
Candidates who Qualify Documentation Stage will be Allowed to Appear in Practical Examination. Practical Examination will be Conducted At Government Hospital.

About ITBP Staff Nurse Merit List:
After completion of the Practical Examination, Merit lists in each category namely, Gen, SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and Ex-servicemen will be drawn on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination.
ITBP Staff Nurse Detailed Medical Examination :
Candidates shortlisted in order of merit as per category wise number of vacancies will be put through DME to assess their fitness as per medical policy issued by MHA.

Review Medical Examination (RME)
In case candidates declared unfit in detailed medical examination are not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Officer, they may submit an application for his/her re-medical examination with a duly filled Medical Fitness certificate within 15 days from the date of his/her rejection in DME.
