Navodaya Vidyalaya Numbers (नवोदय विद्यालय की संख्या)
At present, there are 646 functional Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas spread over 28 States and 07 UTs. In order to optimally utilize the infrastructure and facilities available in these Vidyalayas, it has been decided by the Samiti to fill the vacant seats in IX class through an All India level Selection Test. The District-wise vacant seats in the Vidyalayas are separately notified in local newspapers.
वर्तमान में, 28 राज्यों और 07 केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में 646 कार्यात्मक जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय हैं। इन विद्यालयों में उपलब्ध बुनियादी सुविधाओं और सुविधाओं का बेहतर उपयोग करने के लिए, समिति द्वारा अखिल भारतीय स्तर के चयन टेस्ट के माध्यम से IX वर्ग में रिक्त सीटों को भरने का निर्णय लिया गया है। विद्यालय में जिलावार खाली सीटों को स्थानीय समाचार पत्रों में अलग से अधिसूचित किया जाता है।
Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Eligibility Condition (नवोदय विद्यालय की 9वीं के लिए जरूरी अहर्ता)
1. Only those candidates who are studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2022 – 23 in one of the Govt./Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible.
2. Candidate appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class VIII in the academic session 2022-23 from a Govt./Govt. recognized school in the district where he/she is seeking admission.
3. A candidate seeking admission must be born between 01.05.2007 and 30.04.2011 (both days inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe
- केवल वे अभ्यर्थी जो सरकार के शैक्षणिक सत्र 2022-23 के दौरान कक्षा आठवीं की पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं में से किसी एक में / सरकार। जिले के मान्यताप्राप्त विद्यालय जहाँ जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय कार्यरत है और जहाँ प्रवेश मांगा जाता है, पात्र हैं।
- प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए उपस्थित होने वाले उम्मीदवार को शैक्षणिक सत्र 2022 में कक्षा आठवीं उत्तीर्ण / उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए। जिले में मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल जहां वह प्रवेश लेना चाहता है।
- प्रवेश पाने वाले उम्मीदवार का जन्म 01.05.2007 और 30.04.2011 (दोनों दिन सम्मिलित) के बीच होना चाहिए। यह उन सभी श्रेणियों के उम्मीदवारों पर लागू होता है, जिनमें अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति के लोग शामिल हैं।

3. Centre for examination shall be in the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA of the district concerned.
4. The Medium of Language for Examination will be English/Hindi.
