About recruitment :-
SLPRB has announced the recruitment of 1283 posts of Constable (Communication / Messenger / Carpenter / UB) in Assam Apro and Sub-Officer, Fireman and Emergency Rescue in Fire and Emergency Services, Assam. All eligible and interested candidates have applied for these posts from 25.02.2020 to 15.03.2020. See detailed recruitment information from the link below.
The selection process :-
- Physical Quality Test (PST),
- Physical Fitness Test (PET),
- Written test and
- Additional curricular activities and special skills.
About the test :-

About the admit card :-
The Commission will upload the admission form on its website “slprbassam.in” for the convenience of the candidates. The candidate has to go to the Commission’s website, click on the ‘Candidates Login’ button and then provide the ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ on which the status of the application will be displayed on the screen. Candidates admitted in the examination can download the admission form a few days before the date of the examination.

- Open notifications for related posts displayed on the screen.
- Login with temporary ID and password.
- Submit to the download admit card option.

Physical Quality Test (PST) :-
Once the documents are found correct, the candidates have to appear in the PST (Physical Standard Test). It will not carry any mark. Height, weight of all the candidates and chest measurement of only male candidates will be done using latest technology and then the candidate will be examined by a medical officer for preliminary examination like knee, vision test, color blindness test, plane. Legs, varicose veins, physical deformities etc. Once the candidate clears the PST, he / she has to appear in the PET (Physical Fitness Test).

Physical Fitness Test (PET) :-
Candidates who will pass PST will have to pass PET. PET consists of the following:
Will carry physical fitness test Number 40. It will have 2 (two) events such as:
I) Men Candidates
- Race: Those who qualify in PST will be given 3200 mtrs. The race will be completed in 14 minutes (840 seconds).
- Long jump: Minimum 335 cm for the long jump (3 chances will be given and the longest valid jump will be considered for scoring up to the nearest cm).
Female Candidates:
- Race: Those who qualify in PST will be given 1600 mtrs. The race must be completed within minutes (800 seconds).
- Long jump: Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances will be given and longest valid jump will be considered for scoring up to nearest cm).
