Border Security Force will soon conduct the Written exam for the posts of Airwing ( ASI, Constable). Candidates who applied for these posts are now waiting for the Exam dates, so that they can prepare for their exam accordingly. - Phase I – Written Exam
- Phase II – Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical examination
- Constable (Store man)

- Phase III – Documentation, & Medical examination
Physical Standard Test (PST) :
For the post of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector) & Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector):-

Height | 165 Cms. (Relaxable by 5 Cms for Hill Tribes and Adhivasis). | Height shall not be less than 150 Cms. |
Chest | 76-80 Cms. (Relaxable by 2 Cms for candidates below 20 years of age) | There shall be no requirement of chest measurement. |

- Exam Will be Objective Type.
- Questions will be in the form of MCQs.
- Exam will be conducted on OMR sheets.
- Every question will have 4 options.
- Out of 4 options, only 1 will be correct.
- Total Number of Questions in this exam will be 100 questions.
- Maximum Marks for this exam will be of 100 Marks.
- Every question will be of 1 mark each.
- Time allocated for this exam will be of 2 hours.

Documentation :
The documentation will be carried out by the Board of officers at the Centre on the date and time fixed by the Competent Authority which will be communicated to the candidates through E-mail address/SMS for call letter online. During the documentation, the original documents of the candidates will be thoroughly checked by the selection board regarding age, educational qualification, caste certificate & experience certificate, etc. If a candidate does not produce original documents will be disqualified.
Medical Examination :
Candidates who qualify in all the above stages i.e. Written Examination, Documentation, PST & PET will undergo detailed Medical Examination, which will be conducted by a Medical board to assess their fitness. If any candidate found unfit in the Medical Examination, he/she may prefer an appeal for Review Medical Examination within the prescribed time limit of 15 days from the date of issue of memorandum. The provisions for appeal of Review Medical Examination are only against an “ERROR OF JUDGMENT” on the part of initial Medical Board. On acceptance of the appeal, Review Medical Examination will be conducted and the decision of Review Medical Board will be final. No appeal/representation against the decision of the Review Medical Board will be entertained.’ Appeals from the candidates declared unfit in the medical examination will be received at FHQ (Pers Dte-Rectt Section) and formats of Letter/certificate are enclosed as Annexure- ‘F’, F-1 & F-2. After scrutiny of the received documents, Call letter will be issued to the eligible for appearing in RME on the venue as per due date & time.
