About FMGE: –
Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE), is a licensure examination conducted by the NBE in India. The screening test was introduced in 2002 as a qualifying examination for Indian students obtaining their medical degrees from countries other than India.
About FMGE Exam: –
The test is one of the mandatory requirements for an Indian citizen who has a medical degree from a college outside India to practice medicine in the country.
Applicants may kindly note that appearance in FMGE does not confer any automatic rights to secure provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.
FMGE Examination Date: 04th June 2022
About FMGE Exam Pattern: –
- Time allotted: 2 hrs and 30 min for each part ie total 5 hrs in a single day.
- Mode of Conduct: Computer Based (Its an Online Test, questions will appear on the computer screen with four multiple answer to choose from).
- Pattern of Examination: MCQ based on a single correct response.
- Criteria for passing: Score of 150 out of 300 marks examination.
- The exam consists of 300 multiple choices, single correct answer questions in English language only, delivered in two parts to be taken in a single day.
- Negative Marking: There shall be no negative marking.
About FMGE Admit Card: –
Admit cards shall be made live on the National Board of Examination website https://nbe.edu.in on 11th June 2022. Admit cards will not be issued to candidates found ineligible before the conduct of the examination.
Download NBE FMGE Admit Card 2022: Available From 27th May 2022
- Candidates will be informed regarding their test venue approximately 7 days before the examination day through the admit card.
- Candidates MUST bring to the test center the following documents:
- A printed copy of the Admit Card with Photo of the candidate pasted on it.
- Anyone of the authorized photo ID (must be original, valid and non-expired): –
- PAN card
- Driving License
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Aadhar Card (with the photograph)
Note: Candidates will be informed through SMS / Email alerts and website notice regarding the availability of the admit card on NBE website. Admit Card will not be sent to the candidates by Post / Email
