Selection Process for RPSC School Lecturer (School Education):

Exam Pattern of RPSC School Lecturer (School Education):

Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

Scheme and syllabus of competitive examination for the post of School Lecturer

  • The examination shall carry 450 marks
  • There will be two papers. Paper I shall be of 150 marks and Paper II shall be of 300 marks. Duration of Paper I shall be One and a Half hours and the duration of Paper II shall be Three hours.
  • All the questions in both the Papers shall be Multiple Choice Type questions
  • Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted
  • The minimum qualifying marks for each paper shall be 40%. Provided that the percentage fixed as above shall be relaxed by 5% for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

Syllabus of RPSC School Lecturer (School Education):

PAPER – I General Studies Duration: 1 Hour and 30 minutes

History of Rajasthan and Indian History with special emphasis on Indian National Movement
Mental Ability Test, Statistics (Secondary Level), Mathematics (Secondary Level), Language Ability Test :- Hindi, English
Current affairs
General Science, Indian Polity, Geography of Rajasthan
Educational Management, Educational Scenario in Rajasthan, Right of Children to free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009

PAPER – II Subject Concerned Duration: 3 Hour

Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Senior Secondary Level
Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Graduation Level
Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Post Graduation Level
Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, Teaching Learning Material, Use of Computers and Information Technology in Teaching Learning

Scheme and syllabus of competitive examination for the post of Coach

The examination shall carry 450 marks and maximum 40 marks shall be awarded for participation in sports/ tournaments.(as per “Note”
mentioned below Paper II).

  1. There will be two papers. Paper I shall be of 150 marks and paper II shall be of 300 marks. Duration of the paper I shall be one and a half
    hours and the duration of Paper II shall be Three Hours.
  2. All the questions in both papers shall be Multiple Choice Type questions
  3. Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one third of the marks prescribed for that
    particular question shall be deducted.
    Explanation: Wrong answer shall mean an incorrect answer or multiple answers.

PAPER – II Sports Concerned Duration: 3 Hour

Knowledge of Physical Education & Sports.
Sports Sciences.
General Theory and Method of Training.
Specific Knowledge of Games/ Sports and its current affairs

Scheme and syllabus of competitive examination for the posts Lecturer of Physical Education:-

(1) The examination shall carry 460 marks and maximum 40 marks shall be awarded for participation in sports/ tournaments. (as per “Note”
mentioned below Paper II).
(2) There will be two papers. Paper I shall be of 200 marks and paper II shall be of 260 marks.

Paper-I

  1. The question paper will carry maximum 200 marks.
  2. Duration of question paper will be 2:00 hours.
  3. The question paper will carry 100 question of multiple choices.
  4. Paper shall include following subjects:
    (i) Geographical, Historical, Cultural and general knowledge of Rajasthan.
    (ii) Current Affairs of Rajasthan
    (iii) General knowledge of world and India.
    (iv) Educational Psychology
  5. Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one third of the the marks prescribed for that
    particular question shall be deducted.
    Explanation: Wrong answer shall mean an incorrect answer or multiple answers.
  6. The minimum qualifying marks for each paper shall be 40%. Provided that the percentage fixed as above shall be relaxed by 5% for the
    candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes

Paper-II

  1. The question paper will carry maximum 260 marks.
  2. Duration of question paper will be 2 hours.
  3. The question paper will carry 130 questions of multiple choices.
  4. Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one third of the the marks prescribed for that
    particular question shall be deducted.
    Explanation: Wrong answer shall mean an incorrect answer or multiple answers.
  5. The minimum qualifying marks for the paper shall be 40%. Provided that the percentage fixed as above shall be relaxed by 5% for the
    candidates belonging to the Schedule Casts, Schedule Tribes.
  6. Paper shall include following subjects –
    (i) General Knowledge of Physical Education of Secondary and Senior Secondary standard
    (ii) General knowledge of sports and Physical Education and current affairs.
    (iii) Theories, definitions and History of Physical Education.
    (iv) Education and Games Psychology,
    (v) Methods, Supervision and Organizations of Physical Education.
    (vi) Theories of Training and Decisions.
    (vii) Science of basic Physical Anatomy, Function and Health Education.
    (viii) Entertainment, camp and Yoga.

History, Art, Culture, Literature and Heritage of Rajasthan

  • Ancient Civilizations of Rajasthan and its major sites.
  • Major dynasties of Rajasthan and its rulers through the Ages and their cultural achievements (1000-1800 A.D.).
  • Political resistance of Rajput rulers against Muslim Power.
  • (i) Bhakti Movement and Sufism in Medieval Rajasthan, Saints and Sects.
  • Political Awakening and Freedom Movement in Rajasthan:1857, Peasant and Tribal Movements, Prajamandal Movements, Contribution of Women in Social and Political awakening.
