Age Limit of Telangana Police Prohibition & Excise Constable:
(General):
- Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04- 2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Excise Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.
- In the case of a Widow, a Divorced Woman or a Woman judicially separated from her husband and who is not remarried,
- SC & ST Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July, 2004.However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years)for uniformed services including Transport Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.
- In all other cases (other than SC & ST), the Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1987 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13- 04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Transport Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

Must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 1st July 2022.+
Provided that, Intermediate Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks or any equivalent pass Certificate which proves the qualification shall be made available by the Candidate at the time of certificate verification to prove his / her qualification on or before 1 st July 2022. If any Candidate fails to produce the required pass certificate as above on the designated day, then it shall be deemed that he / she does not possess required qualification and such candidature shall not be taken forward. Any certificates produced after the last date of Certificate Verification shall not be taken into consideration.
