Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) Invites applications for the position of Mining Head and Surveyor 211 vacancies Interested candidates can apply for the post. Other details are given below.
Details of vacancies :-

Age limit :-
- The minimum age of the applicant should not be less 18 years And the age limit will be 30 years as per the date of notification i.e. 11.10.2021.
- The upper age limit will be relaxed for 5 years for SC / ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates. From 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989, the age limit for candidates who have become Indigenous in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and for ex-servicemen, the age relaxation is applicable as per the time prescribed by the Government of India. No higher age limit is applicable for employees of WCL, CIL and other subsidiaries of CIL. Date of birth will be accepted as per Matriculation / SSC / High School / Equivalent Examination Certificate or Birth Certificate issued by the State Authority. No further requests for change of date of birth will be accepted.
Exam duration and salary :-
I) Mining Sirdar
The selected candidates will be included in T&S Grade-C as Mining Heads in their basic basic salary. 31852.56 per month. In addition to the basic salary, they are eligible for DA and allowances and benefits under the National Coal Wages Agreement-X. They will be on examination for six (06) months from the date of joining. Upon successful completion of the trial period, they will be confirmed in T&S grade ‘C’.
II) Surveyor (Mining)
Selected candidates will be included in T&S Grade-B as Surveyor (Mining) in Basic Basic Salary. 34391.65 per month. In addition to the basic, they are entitled to DA and allowances and benefits under the wage agreement. Upon successful completion of the trial period, they will be confirmed in T&S grade ‘B’.
Educational Qualifications :-

| Surveyor (Mining) in T&S Grade-B | (I) (a) Matriculation and (b) Certificate of Qualification issued by DGMS OR (II) (a) Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying; And (b) Certificate of Supporter issued by DGMS. |
